Whose products do we offer?

MORTGAGES

We offer regulated mortgage contracts that are used for a non-business purpose.  We do not offer mortgages that are used for business purposes.

We are not limited in the range of mortgages we will consider for you.  Please be aware that we are a credit broker and not a lender.

INSURANCE

We only offer products from a limited number of insurers for Life Assurance, Buildings and Contents Insurance and Accident, sickness and unemployment insurance.

Which service(s) we will provide you with?

MORTGAGES

We offer an ‘advised’ sales service.  This means we will provide advice and make a recommendation for you after we have assessed your specific needs and circumstances.

INSURANCE

We will advise and make a recommendation for you after we have assessed your needs for all non-investment insurance products

What will you have to pay us for this service?

MORTGAGES AND INSURANCES

A fee of up to 1% of the loan may be payable based upon the complexity of the application. Below is a summary of our typical fees.

Unless stated, all fees are payable at Mortgage Offer stage. We will tell you how much the total fee will be in good time before you apply for a mortgage, but you may ask for this information earlier. You will receive a Key Facts Illustration/ESIS when considering a particular mortgage, which will tell you about any fees relating to that mortgage.

You also have the right to request an illustration/ESIS for any mortgage we offer.

Insurance

We do not charge fees for non-investment insurance products.

 

Refund of fees

If we charge you a fee and this has been paid, we will not refund you if you decide not to proceed with the application.

Who regulates us?

We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Our Financial Services Register number is 826371.

Our permitted business is:

  • Advising on and arranging regulated mortgage contracts and non- investment insurance contracts
  • Making arrangements with a view to regulated mortgage contracts, and non-investment insurance contracts.

MORTGAGE

Mortgage advising and arranging is covered up to a maximum of £50,000.

INSURANCES

Insurance advising and arranging is covered for 90% of the claim, without any upper limit.

For compulsory classes of insurance, insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the claim, without any upper limit.
